Light and Fluffy Vanilla Frosting

This vanilla frosting is delightfully sweet and goes great on any sweet treat! Unlike store bought frosting, its not too sweet and easy to spread on any cake.

Makes 5 cups

Ingredients

4 sticks unsalted butter, softened

½ tsp salt

5 C confectioners sugar

¼ C milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

You will also need:

A standing mixer or hand mixer

• In a large bowl beat butter and salt together until smooth and fluffy.

• With the mixer on low, start mixing in confectioners sugar, one cup at a time; increasing the speed with each cup added.

• Add milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
